Strength and Weight

• Steel Deck platforms have a very good strength to weight ratio.
• A 4’ x 8’ Steel Deck weighs approximately 150 lbs. and supports an evenly distributed load of more than 4000 lbs.
• The deck tops are made of high quality ¾” plywood custom cut to fit the deck girder shape.

 

Ease of Use

• To set up a Steel Deck platform all you have to do is insert and secure the legs and stand the deck up.

Versatility

• For a different stage height, just change the legs.
• Flat platforms, tiers, or ramps can be made from the same standard units.
• Stair units, guardrails, casters, carts, and bracing are available.
• Triangles, curves, and custom shapes allow for creative staging solutions.

 

Steel Deck Platforms

Standard Steel Deck platform constructed using steel truss frame with high quality ¾” plywood tops. Tops are insulated from frames to reduce noise and vibration. Deck will accept 4 legs of 1½ in. Schedule 40 steel pipe. Legs are held in place by a hand knob. Decks are connected to each other by bolting through pre-drilled holes along each edge.

Join these together to create a 12′ round or combine them with rectangular deck to create other configurations. Great for runways and conference stages!
